CMT Announces the Highly Anticipated CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards

CMT will go to the fans to find out what music videos they deem "Flameworthy" for the launch of country music's first ever video music awards -- the CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards on Wednesday, June 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT live from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in downtown Nashville. This premiere CMT event is an unofficial kick-off to the 31st Country Music Fan Fair, the world's biggest country music festival where fans from all over the globe come to meet and greet their favorite country music stars. The CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards, country music's only fan-voted awards, will feature some of music's biggest stars and some very special surprise guests. This event will be a must-see and do for fans wishing to see some of their favorite celebrities appear and perform on one of the year's most anticipated and exciting awards shows. CMT Flameworthy recognizes music videos' unique ability to make a lasting impact -- viewers hear it, see it, feel it, love it -- and it becomes flameworthy.

Tickets for the CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards go on sale Friday, March 15 at 11 a.m. ET on CMT.com or through Ticketmaster at 615-255-9600 or www.ticketmaster.com. In Nashville, tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster locations and at the Gaylord Entertainment Center box office. Tickets will be priced at $25, $50, $75 and $100.
