The heat index is rising on country music's only fan-voted music video awards show as CMT announces the co-hosts for the CMT Flameworthy 2003 Video Music Awards. Toby Keith (Unleashed), who boasts a rebel attitude and a string of No. 1 country hits and Pamela Anderson (Baywatch, VIP), one of the most recognizable faces in entertainment, will co-host the awards show that is guaranteed to burn up the airwaves when it airs live on Monday, April 7 at 8 p.m. ET* on CMT. Superstar Keith, who will also perform on the show, joins the elite list of previously announced live musical performances including Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson and Rascal Flatts.

Anderson is one of the world's most recognizable icons -- with more magazine covers worldwide than any star of her generation and starring roles on the popular hit series Baywatch and VIP and the feature films Barbwire and Scooby Doo. Anderson recently reprised her role as CJ Parker for a guest appearance in the Baywatch reunion Baywatch Hawaiian Wedding, and later this year she will venture into the world of animation, co-creating the series Striperella. Anderson is also a syndicated columnist with Jane and Marie Claire magazines.

Named Billboard Monitor's No. 1 country artist of the year as well as R&R's No. 1 country artist (MVP overall and male), Keith enjoyed a banner year in 2002. His latest DreamWorks album Unleashed has already surpassed 2 million in sales, thanks to the hit singles "Who's Your Daddy?" and "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)." Over the last decade, Keith has amassed 16 No.1 hits, along with eight gold and platinum albums. Unleashed captured the No.1 spot on the Billboard Country and Billboard 200 music charts during its first week of sales.
