Montgomery Gentry, Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hanson to Perform Live on the CMT Flameworthy Pre-Party
Pre-Party Special Leads Into the Live CMT Flameworthy 2003 Video Music Awards Telecast

The biggest bash of the year gets a hot start with performances by Montgomery Gentry, Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hanson on the CMT Flameworthy Pre-Party. Straight from downtown Nashville on the plaza of the Gaylord Entertainment Center, the pre-party special will kick off on Monday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. ET with the live CMT Flameworthy 2003 Video Music Awards immediately following. The live pre-party special is hosted by Cledus T. Judd, Katie Cook and Tara McNamara and will also include reports from the star-studded red carpet.

Montgomery Gentry’s chart-topping hit "My Town" is nominated for both Flameworthy group/duo video of the year and Flameworthy cocky video of the year. Shelton's hit single "Ol' Red" is nominated for Flameworthy breakthrough video of the year and Flameworthy video director of the year. Hanson's debut hit "Beautiful Goodbye" is also vying for Flameworthy breakthrough video of the year. For fans who want to get in on the excitement at the CMT Flameworthy Pre-Party, gates to the free concert special will open at 4:30 p.m. CT at the Gaylord Entertainment Center plaza. Immediately following the CMT Flameworthy Pre-Party, the CMT Flameworthy 2003 Video Music Awards promises a night of sizzling entertainment with performances by Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow. Country rebel Keith and Hollywood icon Pamela Anderson will co-host the show. In addition, CMT will honor musical giant Johnny Cash for his five decades of influence and enduring contributions to American music.
