Country music fans around the world logged on to CMT.com to watch a live simulcast of the show. In addition, CMT Radio Networks offered the live simulcast to its affiliate radio stations across the country.

Hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, CMT's sixth annual awards show honored country music's elite for the year's most outstanding videos and remains the genre's only fan-voted awards show. The 2007 CMT Music Awards featured an extraordinary musical lineup, including Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Toby Keith, Sugarland, Dierks Bentley and more.

During the show, CMT honored country music icon Kris Kristofferson with the prestigious Johnny Cash Visionary Award, an honor that recognizes an artist's innovative and groundbreaking initiatives in entertainment. Past recipients include Hank Williams Jr., Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire and more.
