Lauren Rainey, host of CMT Loaded's original show, Custom Built, joined CMT in 2006. A Georgia native, Rainey pursued a career in broadcasting after graduating from Appalachian State University in 2003. She landed a spot among the on-air personalities of The Charlotte Bobcats, the newest team in the NBA. She also free-lanced as a community reporter for the local Fox News station. Rainey came to Nashville to pursue her music career in 2005 and is thrilled to be part of CMT Loaded's success.
Born in Rochester, N.Y., Adam Black moved to Nashville when he was 5, at which time he thought He-Man and the Masters of the Universe action figures were really cool. (He secretly hopes to have an action figure made of himself one day). He's always liked TV hosts. In fact, when he was 11, he started videotaping and hosting his own talk show out of his house. Black holds a master of fine arts degree in theatre from the University of Utah in conjunction with the Sundance Institute. He hosts the CMT Loaded show Video Replay, and lives in Nashville with his wife and two children.
