Hill Single Speeds Up the Charts

Faith Hill‘s new single, "There You’ll Be," from the Pearl Harbor soundtrack, gets a boost when the film opens nationally this Memorial Day weekend. In its second week on the charts, Hill’s recording of the Dianne Warren song sits at No. 28 on Billboard‘s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart and at No. 25 on The Billboard Hot 100, which encompasses all music formats. Hill sang the national anthem at the movie premiere Monday (May 21) in Honolulu. Her video, directed by Pearl Harbor filmmaker Michael Bay, is in HotShot rotation on CMT. The soundtrack hit stores Tuesday. 05/25/01
