Eldredge, Nicholas Benefit Draws Best in Bluegrass

A stellar list of musicians will assemble at the Gallatin Civic Center in Gallatin, Tenn., Tuesday and Wednesday (June 26-27) to help out two of their own. Bassist Terry Eldredge, a member of Larry Cordle & Lonesome Standard Time and The Sidemen, and guitarist Bobby Nicholas, who plays with Patty Loveless, were injured in an auto accident in April. Both are expected to recover fully but are facing mounting medical bills and will not be able to work during recovery. Jimmy Martin, The Osborne Brothers, Mac Wiseman, Jim & Jesse, J.D. Crowe, Lonesome River Band, Nashville Bluegrass Band, IIIrd Tyme Out, Gail Davies and Chalee Tennison will be among the many performers at the Eldredge and Nicholas benefit shows. Showtime is 6:00 p.m. Admission is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Call (615) 451-5911 for more information. 06/26/01
