Mary Chapin Carpenter will tour the U.S. in support of her new album, Time*Sex*Love. She kicked off the tour Saturday (June 23) with an appearance at the 28th annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Telluride, Colo. Carpenter performs Wednesday (June 27) in Washington, D.C., where she’s based, at The 9:30 Club. From there the acclaimed singer-songwriter will play more than 35 dates in the U.S. and a couple of shows in Canada. The tour will close with a two-night stint, Aug. 25-26, at the Wolf Trap Filene Center in Vienna, Va. Steve Earle, Shawn Colvin, Beausoleil, Lunasa and John Gorka will open for Carpenter on various dates. See tour dates.
