Lauderdale to Play Possum

Singer and songwriter Jim Lauderdale will portray George Jones in the upcoming stage presentation of “Stand By Your Man: the Tammy Wynette Story.” The production will open at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Sept.13 and run through Oct. 28. The Wynette part has not yet been cast. 07/06/01
