Eagles Take It Easy

The Eagles are proving they can still draw fans. They’ve scheduled only two U.S. dates for this year, and tickets for their sold-out date Saturday night (July 28) in Dallas were being advertised as high as $1500 each before the show. The group was to open the new $420 million American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas. Other country acts scheduled to play the 20,000-seat arena later this year are Willie Nelson with Robert Earl Keen (Oct. 26), Toby Keith (Oct. 27) and Lee Ann Womack with Clay Walker (Oct. 28). The Eagles’ other pending U.S. concert date is Aug. 11 in Denver’s Mile High Stadium. 07/27/01
