It took five writers to come up with "Beer Run," the duet Garth Brooks and George Jones plan to record together next week. Kent Blazy, George Ducas, Keith Anderson, Kim Williams and Williams’ daughter, Amanda Williams, share songwriting credit on the tune. Blazy and the elder Williams have written hits for Brooks in the past ("If Tomorrow Never Comes," "Papa Loved Mama") and are featured on the recent album In the Beginning: A Tribute to Garth Brooks. 08/01/01
