Loretta Lynn, Brad Paisley Will Be on Opry Telecast

Country Music Hall of Fame members Little Jimmy Dickens and Loretta Lynn will be part of Grand Ole Opry Live when the one-hour show moves to CMT at 8 p.m. ET Saturday (Aug. 18). Vince Gill, celebrating his 10th anniversary as a cast member, will host the televised portion of the long-running show. Also scheduled to appear are Brad Paisley, Steve Wariner and Sonya Isaacs. Grand Ole Opry Live debuted in April 1985 on TNN, where it appeared until last week. The summer Tuesday Night Opry shows come to a close tonight (Aug. 14), with performances scheduled by Lorrie Morgan and Sammy Kershaw, among others. 08/14/01
