Brenda Lee received the International Entertainment Buyers Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award Monday (Oct. 8) during the association's 31st annual conference in Nashville. Fellow Country Music Hall of Fame member Jo Walker-Meador presented Lee with the award at the IEBA Founder's Award Dinner. Lee told the entertainment professionals she appreciates the opportunities they've provided her. "Thank you," she said, "for giving me a stage, an audience and the opportunity you've given me for so many years to do what I love to do most -- sing." 10/11/01
