Fans Ask Where Is Jackson’s ‘Where Were You’

Alan Jackson’s label, Arista Nashville, is rushing to get “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)” to country radio stations. After Jackson played it Wednesday night on the CMA awards show, his Web site was overwhelmed with traffic. There are no plans to release the song as a commercial single. Jackson already has two songs on this week’s country singles chart: “Where I Come From” and “It’s Alright to Be a Redneck.” Some radio stations are playing a version of “Where Were You” taken from the CBS broadcast. 11/09/01
