Most of the 25,000 complimentary wristbands have been distributed for Garth Brooks’ concert Wednesday night (Nov. 28) on South Padre Island in Texas. Fans are being encouraged to bring jackets. Temperatures are projected to be in the mid-50s, but north winds at 15 mph to 25 mph will make it feel like it’s in the 30s, the Valley Morning Star newspaper reports. Though distributed free, wristbands are showing up for sale on ebay. The concert is the third and final show in the Garth Brooks: Coast to Coast Live series on CBS. It airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT. 11/27/01
