Bocephus, Kid Rock Confirm CMT Taping

Hank Williams Jr. and rap-rock star Kid Rock are set to tape an episode of CMT Crossroads on Dec. 14 or 15 in Nashville. The episode tentatively is scheduled to air in February as the second installment in the upcoming monthly series. Kid Rock provides guitar and harmony vocal on “The ’F’ Word,” a track from Williams’ upcoming album, Almeria Club, due Jan. 8. Kid Rock recently told USA Today that Williams has become “like a friend and father to me.” CMT Crossroads aims to show the far-reaching roots of country music by pairing country artists with musicians from other genres. Each episode will feature a different set of stars playing together and sharing stories and insights about their music. Lucinda Williams and Elvis Costello collaborated for the series debut which airs Jan. 13. 11/30/01
