In his country hit, "Riding With Private Malone," David Ball drives a '66 red Corvette that once belonged to the enlisted man in the title. A special "2002 Olympic Torch Z06 Corvette" will be the signature car for the upcoming Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. So Ball and NASCAR great Darrell Waltrip will be at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky., 2-5 p.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 11), to sign the car and greet fans. Ball is scheduled to perform a few songs. The Corvette will visit other states, collecting signatures, and evenually will make its way to Salt Lake in time for the Olympics. 12/07/01
