Producer Lanois Elected to Canadian Music Hall of Fame

Producer Daniel Lanois, who worked on Emmylou Harris’ Grammy-winning Wrecking Ball and Willie Nelson’s critically acclaimed Teatro, will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. The Quebec native will be honored during the 2002 Juno Awards, set for April 14 at One Mile Stadium in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Known for his atmospheric productions, Lanois also has collaborated in the studio with U2, Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel, the Neville Brothers and Robbie Robertson. 01/31/02
