Johnson Takes Juno Award

Carolyn Dawn Johnson received the Juno Award for best country artist/group Sunday night (April 14) in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Presented by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the Juno Awards are the Candadian equivalent of the Grammys. The Ennis Sisters were named best new country artist/group, and Colin Linden, who appeared on the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack, took honors for best blues album for Big Mouth. Jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall was named best artist. 04/15/02
