Radio won’t touch it, but Hank Jr. and Kid Rock plan to perform “The F-Word” on the Academy of Country Music Awards. Taken from Hank Jr.’s latest album, the song indicates there is no room in country music for the particularly offensive word. “Stay tuned for this one,” comments Fran Boyd, executive director of the Academy of Country Music, in a news release. “These boys are always full of the surprises that make for great television moments.” Hank Jr. and Kid Rock appeared together on a CMT Crossroads episode earlier this year.
