The third annual Bill Monroe Bluegrass Festival takes places over Memorial Day weekend in Monroe's birthplace of Rosine, Ky. Performers include Rhonda Vincent, Jim & Jesse McReynolds and past members of Monroe's band, The Blue Grass Boys. James Monroe, Bill Monroe's son, hosts the four-day event, which drew a crowd of 3,000 last year. 05/22/02
