Strait Announces Arena Tour

George Strait is giving up the stadiums for his upcoming tour, opting to perform in arenas. “We definitely had a great time doing the stadiums, but I’m excited about seeing some faces again,” Strait said. “Not that 20,000-seat arenas are exactly intimate settings, but you can tell a difference, and I think it will be a fun change of pace.” His final tour date, in San Antonio, marks the first concert in the SBC Center.

Jo Dee Messina opens the 21-city tour, which begins Sept. 12 in Detroit. On-sale dates for tickets will be announced in the future, unless otherwise noted. The following schedule is subject to change:
