Brad Paisley will headline the CMT Most Wanted Live Tour, which begins Sept. 19 in Phoenix and concludes Dec. 14 in Las Vegas. The 44-city tour features a rotating list of country newcomers as opening acts, such as Steve Azar, Chris Cagle , Tammy Cochran , Andy Griggs , Steve Holy , Shannon Lawson , Pinmonkey, Rascal Flatts , Tommy Shane Steiner and Darryl Worley .

“I can’t wait for the CMT Most Wanted Live Tour to begin,” Paisley said. “I’m so proud to represent CMT on the road, along with a bunch of artists I’m honored to call my friends. Also, being that a few of these artists are relatively new, I plan on dominating the practical joke wars that are bound to take place. I guess just like Most Wanted Live, anything can happen. I want to thank CMT for this incredible opportunity. They’ve been such a great support from the beginning!”

Paisley has appeared on CMT Most Wanted Live six times, including his January 2002 appearance that kicked off the daily live show’s new season from Nashville’s Gibson Bluegrass Showcase. In fact, all of the artists on this tour have appeared on CMT Most Wanted Live.

A television commercial promoting the tour, produced by CMT, features Paisley and actress Kimberly Williams (Father of the Bride and ABC-TV’s According to Jim). CMT viewers will also recognize Williams as Paisley’s love interest in his award-winning video “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song)”, which was named Flameworthy concept video of the year at the CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards in June. Paisley also won the CMA Horizon Award in 2000 and joined the Grand Ole Opry in 2001.

“Brad is a bright, guiding star for the next generation of authentic country artists,” said Brian Philips, senior vice president/general manager, CMT. “He’s got the chops to hold a traditional Grand Ole Opry audience spellbound and the scorching guitar flair to burn down a roadhouse. CMT’s audience has seen his hit videos in hot rotation, and they’ve bought his albums by the millions. But we know Brad’s magic can’t be fully appreciated until you’ve seen him live. Sharing the bill with a slew of the fastest-breaking stars in country, Brad is the ideal headliner for the inaugural CMT Most Wanted Live Tour.”
