Twain’s New Video Debuts Friday

Shania Twain’s new video — the first from her upcoming album, Up! — debuts Friday (Oct. 4) on CMT. The exclusive world premiere of “I’m Gonna Getcha Good!” takes place on CMT Most Wanted Live at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Promising that the video will be “something I’ve never done before,” Twain tells CMT’s Katie Cook, “There will be animation — very futuristic and there’s an edge to it. It will keep you a little bit on the edge of your seat. It’s more of an action video, so it’s different for me.” She adds, “There are two personalities in the video. One is sort of the Shania and the other person is kind of the superhero.” Cook’s interview is included in the CMT special, Shania in London: Making the Video, debuting Oct. 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Up!, Twain’s first album in five years, arrives in stores Nov. 19. “I’m Gonna Getcha Good!” will simultaneously premiere at CMT.com, where visitors can stream the video on demand. 10/1/02
