Brooks & Dunn Get Extra Help at CMA Awards

When Brooks & Dunn perform “Every River” on next month’s CMA Awards show, they’ll get some vocal assistance from singer-songwriters Kim Richey and Bekka Bramlett. Both Richey and Bramlett remain favorites among the Nashville music industry. Richey’s songwriting credits include “Every River” and Trisha Yearwood’s “Believe Me Baby (I Lied).” Bramlett co-wrote “One,” a track on Faith Hill’s just-released album, Cry. Ronnie Dunn notes, “For various reasons, there are some extremely talented singers and songwriters who may not get on the radio. It's really cool to be able to let people see some of these folks.” The 36th annual CMA Awards is set for Nov. 6 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. 10/17/02
