George Strait will be inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame on Jan. 10 in Fort Worth, Texas. Primarily known as a country superstar, Strait also launched the successful George Strait Team Roping Classic, which held its 20th annual competition in San Antonio this year. "We are expanding the hall of fame's range to go beyond the sport of cutting and rodeo competition," Ann Bastable, executive director, told the San Antonio Express-News. 12/23/02
