Mike Curb, founder of Curb Records, has formed another country imprint. No name has been given to the label which will be helmed by Rob Dalton who previously headed Epic Nashville’s radio promotion department. Joining Dalton are two other Epic alumni -- producer Doug Johnson and promotion veteran Jack Lameier. Johnson, who will guide the new label’s A&R operations, most recently served as head of Giant Records’ country division. His production credits include projects with John Michael Montgomery, Clay Walker, Ty Herndon, Sons of the Desert, Daryle Singletary and Don Williams. No artists on the new label have been announced. Curb Records is home to Tim McGraw, LeAnn Rimes and Jo Dee Messina. 1/6/03
