Bill Carlisle Recuperating From Stroke

Grand Ole Opry member Bill Carlisle was scheduled to be released from a Nashville hospital Thursday (March 13) after suffering a stroke the day before. An Opry spokesperson said the 94-year-old entertainer will be recuperating at home. Carlisle, who was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2002, performed on the Opry last Friday (March 7). 03/13/03
