Opry House Getting Facelift

The Grand Ole Opry House is getting a $7.5 million facelift from its owner, Gaylord Entertainment. The renovations include two additions that will frame the original building. They include a new gift shop and box office. Other improvements announced Thursday (March 13) include enhancements to the venue’s production facilities and acoustic design. The project is to be completed prior to the building’s 30th anniversary in March 2004. 03/13/03
