McGraw, Kid Rock Unite in Detroit

Tim McGraw performed a second Bread & Water show on Friday (March 21) while in Detroit town for two sold-out dates at the Palace of Auburn Hills. After performing at the Palace, approximately 400 fans showed up for the two-hour concert at the Mill Street club in nearby Pontiac, Mich. Kid Rock joined McGraw at the club after appearing at the Palace to sing David Allan Coe's "The Ride" with McGraw. Fans paid a $20 cover charge and offered additional donations for the chance to hear McGraw perform a few of his own songs. All other tunes performed at the Bread & Water show were cover songs. Funds raised benefited the local chapter of the American Red Cross. The first Bread & Water show of McGraw's new tour took place earlier this month in Nashville. 03/24/03
