Joe Nichols and the writers of “Brokenheartsville” joined friends Tuesday (April 1) at The Trap in Nashville to celebrate the recent success of the single. It is the second No. 1 for Nichols who claimed, “These guys wrote a heck of a song.” Songwriters Donny Kees’ and Randy Boudreaux’s careers include four and three No. 1 hits, respectively.
