Former Oak Ridge Boy in Critical Condition

Noel Fox, a former member of the Oak Ridge Boys and former manager of bluegrass star Rhonda Vincent, remained in critical condition Thursday (April 10) at Nashville’s Vanderbilt Medical Center after suffering a stroke. Fox, 63, sang bass for the Oaks prior to the group’s emergence as country stars in 1977. He also headed the group’s music publishing companies and was later in charge of Alabama’s publishing arm, Maypop Music. He was admitted to the hospital Tuesday (April 8). 04/10/03
