Joe Ely Visits Streets of Sin

Joe Ely’s first studio album in more than six years arrives July 15. In describing the Rounder album, Streets of Sin, Ely says, “These are a bunch of stories from the B-section of the newspaper. It’s a collection of short stories about people living out their daily lives.” Ely’s last solo album, Live at Antone’s, was released in 2000. More recently, Ely recorded and toured in the Flatlanders with longtime friends Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock. 04/18/03
