Tony Brown Returns to Nashville

Record producer Tony Brown has returned to Nashville after spending almost three weeks at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Brown is being treated for a head injury he sustained in an April 11 accident in Los Angeles. After arriving in Nashville on Thursday (May 1), he was admitted to Centennial Medical Center. He continues to improve but is still listed in fair condition. The music industry executive was injured when he fell on the stairs after leaving a Los Angeles restaurant. A keyboardist who toured in Elvis Presley’s band, he later became one of the most successful record producers in country music history. Brown, who previously served as president of MCA Records Nashville, currently operates Universal South Records with former Arista Records Nashville chief Tim DuBois. 05/02/03
