Cledus T. Judd Minus a Part

Cledus T. Judd, the country parody artist, was rushed to a Roanoke, Va., hospital on Friday, July 10, for emergency gall bladder surgery. His gall bladder had become infected and removal was necessary. Judd was scheduled to perform two shows July 10 and 11, which were subsequently cancelled. His appearances for the next few weeks have also been cancelled. He will return home to Georgia after a few days' rest.

Judd is known for his unique knee-slappin' humor. His last album was Did I Shave My Back for This? He has been called "country music's homegrown version of Weird 'Al' Yankovic" by Billboard magazine. His new album, yet untitled, will be released on Razor & Tie Records in September.
