Country star Doug Stone is skipping some of his Fan Fair activities this week, but we'll let him off the hook this time. He seems to have a good enough reason. Shortly after his annual Fan Fair Club breakfast on Wednesday, he and his wife Beth went to the hospital to become the happy parents of a baby girl. Baily Rebecca Stone was born the evening of June 17, and the bouncing baby Stone weighed in at a healthy 8 pounds and 4 ounces. In describing the first addition to their family, Doug offered that Baily was "heaven sent." The proud papa commented that mother and child are doing just fine and that "she is just beautiful, like her mother, and she's already got my heart." Stone recently released a new single, "Gone Out of My Mind," which comes from his forthcoming Columbia records compilation album, Tribute to Tradition, which is scheduled for release September 8th.
