Capitol Nashville and EMI Music Marketing are partnering with CMT to release the first-ever series of CMT-branded country music compilations. The first release, CMT Presents Most Wanted Vol. 1, is set for fall 2003 release on the Capitol Nashville imprint. Featuring the biggest country music hits and stars on a collection similar to the NOW! series for pop music, three CDs are planned for release in the next 12 to 18 months. The initial marketing plan includes a national concert tour launching in September with Rascal Flatts, Chris Cagle and Brian McComas, as well as a television campaign and promotion on the CMT Radio Network. 07/15/03
