For Hank’s Sake

Both Hank Williams Jr. and Jett Williams, the late Hank Williams Sr.’s two children, are filing suit against Legacy Entertainment Group to keep some of their father’s 1951 recordings from being released. Along with PolyGram Records, the Williams children say they own the rights to the never-released recordings. Reportedly, the recordings, which were taped from Hank Sr.’s live performances on WSM Radio, were sold to the independent record company by one of the legend’s former band members.
