Music phenomenon Elton John is set to bring his tour to Nashville early next year. The concert, to be held on January 23rd, will feature songs from the entertainer’s latest album, The Big Picture, as well as his three-decade career. John doesn’t plan to play the famous “Candle In The Wind ’97″, however. Instead, he will turn to Nashville tunesmith Beth Nielsen Chapman’s “Sand And Water” song to express his grief over Princess Diana’s untimely death. Another Nashville songwriter, Geron Davis, recently landed a cut on Barbra Streisand’s new inspirational album. The album was actually inspired by the song “On Holy Ground,” which Davis penned 18 years ago. Streisand first heard the song in 1994 at the funeral of President Clinton’s mother.
