Nashville songwriter Don Schlitz will be on New York's Broadway tonight (April 26) for the opening of the musical Tom Sawyer at the Minskoff Theatre. Schlitz, the author of such country hits as "The Gambler," wrote the music and lyrics for the play. ... Lila McCann shot a video in Los Angeles Wednesday (April 25) for her new single "Come a Little Closer." McCann's third album, Complete, arrives in stores June 26.
