Brad Paisley to Present Buck Owens With Award

Buck Owens will be honored with the Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) Career Achievement Award on June 28. Brad Paisley will present the award during CRB’s annual Country Music DJ Hall of Fame Banquet at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville. Loretta Lynn, Chet Atkins and Eddy Arnold previously have been recognized with this honor by CRB, producers of Nashville’s annual Country Radio Seminar. Blair Garner, host of the syndicated radio program After Midnight, will emcee the event. As previously reported, radio veterans Terry Burford, Dale Eichor, “Country” Joe Flint, Rhubarb Jones and the late Chris Lane will be inducted into the Country Music DJ Hall of Fame. In addition, Mike Lynch will become the first inductee in the CRB’s newly established Country Radio Hall of Fame that honors country radio staffers whose achievement was not limited to on-air work.
