New Hall of Fame Open to Public for Free on May 17

The Country Music Hall of Fame’s grand opening May 17 will include a 45-minute ceremony featuring Hall of Fame members and Grand Ole Opry stars. The celebration, with music and red carpet arrivals, begins at 9 a.m. CT, rain or shine, in front of the new museum in downtown Nashville. A ribbon-cutting ceremony follows at 10 a.m. The Hall of Fame will be open to the public with free admission until 6 p.m. As the official Web site of the Hall of Fame, will report further details about the May 17 ceremony and related celebrations during the museum’s launch week as they are announced.
