New Hall of Fame Open to Public for Free on May 17

The Country Music Hall of Fame’s grand opening May 17 will include a 45-minute ceremony featuring Hall of Fame members and Grand Ole Opry stars. The celebration, with music and red carpet arrivals, begins at 9 a.m. CT, rain or shine, in front of the new museum in downtown Nashville. A ribbon-cutting ceremony follows at 10 a.m. The Hall of Fame will be open to the public with free admission until 6 p.m. As the official Web site of the Hall of Fame, country.com will report further details about the May 17 ceremony and related celebrations during the museum’s launch week as they are announced.
