McBride, Wills on Charity CD

Martina McBride and Mark Wills are among the country artists joining forces on The Songs of Hope, Awareness and Recovery for Everyone (SHARE), a CD coordinated and produced by a volunteer group of Nashville-based drug and alcohol treatment professionals and music industry executives. Set for Aug. 26 release, the CD is highlighted by “When Love Rules the World,” a new song co-written by Kent Blazy, Blair Daly and Tom Douglas. Paul Worley produced the recording featuring vocals by McBride, Wills, Rhett Akins, Susan Ashton, Sherrie Austin, T. Graham Brown, Gary Burr, Ricky Lynn Gregg, Sonya Isaacs, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Hal Ketchum, Raul Malo, Kathy Mattea, Michael Peterson, Jon Randall, Collin Raye and Daryle Singletary. The other 16 songs on the CD include previously released material, including George Jones’ “Choices.” CD sales benefit substance abuse prevention and treatment programs. 07/18/03
