Songwriters behind some of Garth Brooks' biggest hits will perform on Grand Ole Opry Live tonight (April 14). Victoria Shaw ("The River"), Kent Blazy ("If Tomorrow Never Comes") and Pat Alger ("Unanswered Prayers") appear on the televised portion of the Opry at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. The trio are among singer/songwriters featured on In the Beginning: A Songwriter's Tribute to Garth Brooks, a CD issued Tuesday (April 10). John Conlee, Chad Brock and Jack Greene round out the televised bill.
