Rogers Honored

Longtime hitmaker Kenny Rogers was recently honored with the CRB’s 1998 Artist Humanitarian Award. The award, presented by last year’s honoree Joe Diffie, is given to an artist who has devoted extensive support to worthy causes. Rogers has long been a supporter of the fight against hunger and Cerebral Palsy, in addition to helping the homeless and supporting Toys For Tots. Rogers received the award during Nashville’s Country Radio Seminar.
