McGraw, Chesney Scheduled to Stand Trail

A tentative May 7 court date has been set for Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and McGraw’s former production manager Mark Russo, reports Billboard. In a much-publicized case, the three men face charges for misdemeanors stemming from the ruckus backstage at a June 3 concert in Buffalo, N.Y., when Chesney’s ride on a security guard’s horse led to a scuffle with authorities. Orchard Park municipal judge Edmund Brown Jr. said he would rule within a week on a request by the singers’ lawyers to throw out the charges.
