Urban in for 'Chaos' This Summer

Speaking to reporters backstage at Joe Diffie's First Steps Benefit Sunday (Feb. 11), Keith Urban described his upcoming 3-month stint on the Brooks & Dunn Neon Circus and Wild West Show. "Chaos, absolute chaos!" Urban said of what he's expecting from the tour. "It's myself, Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry and Brooks & Dunn -- you spot the odd guy out." The soft-spoken Urban, who has recently had hits with the ballads "Your Everything" and "But for the Grace of God," says he's glad for the chance to show off his more rockin' guitar prowess to the rough-and-tumble Brooks & Dunn crowd. "So many women come out to the show dragging their reluctant men along, and you can see these guys are expecting a whole night of Barry Manilow. By the end of the night, they've got their fist in the air and are having a great time. I'm really grateful for this tour to give me the opportunity to play to a particular kind of audience that probably wouldn't come out to our shows unless they knew what we were about." The Brooks & Dunn Neon Circus tour kicks off April 27 in Birmingham, Ala., and wraps up Aug. 5 in Pittsburgh.
