Stephen King Digs Clint Black

Although bestselling horror author Stephen King sometimes performs in a rock band of fellow writers called the Rock Bottom Remainders, he obviously has an ear for country music as well. In his "All That You Love Will Be Carried Away," published in the Jan. 29 issue of The New Yorker, the lone character in the story listens to Clint Black's "Nothin' but the Tail Lights." Later on, as he looks across a snow-covered field, he imagines a farmer plowing in the spring while the cab of his tractor is "filled with the music of of Patty Loveless or George Jones or maybe even Clint Black." Of course, King's always attracted to black.
