Lynn Honored For Musical Achievements

“I Never Promised You A Rose Garden” singer Lynn Anderson was recognized for her lifetime of contributions to country music when she was inducted into the North American Country Music Association’s International Hall of Fame last week. The ceremonies, held at the Louise Mandrell Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, also honored other country music greats like Kitty Wells, Johnny Wright, the Jordanaires, Harold Bradley and Lynn’s mother, Liz Anderson. Also inducted were Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, writers of the Tennessee legendary song “Rocky Top,” which Lynn performed at the induction ceremony.
