After having to cancel some recent performance dates due to suffering a viral infection in his spinal fluid, country crooner Deryl Dodd is anxious to get back on the road. On April 6th he’s on site at MGM Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, to tape his performance for the Academy of Country Music Awards show. Dodd is nominated for Top New Male Vocalist and will be performing his smash traditional ballad “A Bitter End,”, the first single from his second Columbia album Deryl Dodd. On April 8, Dodd opens his first show on the Brooks & Dunn Tailgate Tour in Wilmington, North Carolina. Dodd will tour with Brooks & Dunn for 13 shows.
